Honda CBR 250R or CBR 150R ??

Hello all :D , This time we will discuss the comparison between Honda CBR150R and CBR250R

In terms of shape / design of both bikes is so same … From the long side of the Honda CBR 250R has a length of 203 cm, while the CBR 150R is 198cm … just a 5cm difference …! Width CBR 250R  about 70.9 cm … while CBR 150R has a width  69.5cm … so the difference is only 1.4cm …! In terms of the form was difficult to distinguish between this both bike, do with differences in length of 5cm and 1.4cm wide … what the eye can distinguish … when the both bike is moving ? :roll:

And Then from the Tire side, there is a difference … although not significant shape … please see :arrow: Honda CBR 250R using a 110/70-17 for the front … while CBR 150R using 100/70-17 …! As for the rear tires CBR 250R using 140/70-17 and CBR 150R uses 130/70-17, Just info … ninja 250R use a size 130/70-17 for rear tires, it’s same with CBR 150R!, So … there was no significant difference between the ‘Honda CBR 250 and Honda CBR 150R … its 11-12 ratio

Now about the engine, both use the same single cylinder DOHC, liquid-cooled, PGM-Fi,only difference in the displacement … the difference in bore x stroke …! Honda CBR 250R can Generate up to 26HP , and the CBR 150R is 19.5HP … as measured in crank …! Honda CBR 250R weight is 162kg, and Honda CBR 150R is 138 kg, .. the power to weight ratio (PTWR) CBR 250 R is 1:6.2, .. and PTWR CBR 150R is 1:7 … so, the difference amounting to 0.8 …! :mrgreen:

Once we get the info about the design / shape and performance :roll: let’s see from the price, we will take the example from Indonesian. Honda CBR 250R non-ABS version priced around USD. 39.9 million …, while if it is assumed Honda CBR 150R later will cost Rp. 30 million … then of course … the price difference of 25% has happened …! Compare this with the power to weight ratio is difference 12% … or the difference in torque by 13% … 8% different designs .. and average difference is 10:25% …. !! So clear out of here with cheaper priced 25% … but the loss of features 10:25% … obviously more profitable to buy the Honda CBR 150R … (assuming if the price of Rp. 30 million) …!

So,,, it’s more profitable if you buy Honda CBR150R, with similiar design and more cheaper than CBR250R, what do you think?? please comment, hope usefull :wink:
